Kurenai's reaction speed was very fast. She was able to defend against Itachi's attack right after escaping her own reflected genjutsu. In the anime, Kurenai is able to move through surfaces and sense the presence of others through their chakra. She also knows how to seal the limited bloodline and go into a person's subconscious to know his "true human nature".
